TN v. C.S.

A young man is accused of aggravated rape after engaging in the services of a prostitute. Her testimony was that after they had engaged in consensual relations, he used a weapon and forced her to perform additional non-consensual acts. His offer was twenty-five years, but he refused to plead to something he didn’t do. On the morning of the trial, the alleged victim changes her story to say that the entire incident was ‘date rape,’ and the prosecutor has to dismiss the charges to avoid suborning perjury.
